Barrister Salman Safdar, head of the chambers, is a law graduate from London School of Economics & Political Sciences and was called to the Bar from the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, United Kingdom in the year 1999. As part of his training, Salman Safdar worked with various eminent Barristers and conducted several trials in the Crown Courts of England. Upon returning to Pakistan in 2000, he had the honour of working with Senior Advocate Supreme Court, Mr. Khwaja Sultan Ahmad, under whose guidance and pupilage he further refined the art of cross examination and advocacy skills.
The chamber was formed in early 2003, and in a short span of time, earned a good repute for its expertise and professionalism amongst both the bench and the bar. Acknowledging his insight and experience into criminal matters, in 2004 the Government through Ministry of Law & Human Rights Division was pleased to appoint Salman Safdar as a Special Prosecutor for Anti-Terrorism cases in the Province of Punjab.
His experience includes legal representation in over 400 murder cases and innumerable high profile criminal cases. Advising clients on immigration matters also falls within his specialization and expertise. He also lectures the LL.B in the areas of criminal law in the external degree programme of the University of London. In recognition of his contributions towards academia, Salman was given the “Outstanding Performance Award” by the Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan in 2006 at Lahore.
RAZA BASHIR

Raza graduated from Pakistan College of Law and subsequently undertook a Master’s degree in Political Sciences from the University of Punjab, Lahore. He has been enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court and handles litigation in the Magistrates as well as Sessions Court in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Faisalabad and Islamabad. Raza possess vast experience in advocacy in criminal matters, ranging from Bail matters to complex trials and has appeared in over three hundred criminal matters involving serious offences. Raza also renders advice on Immigration matters and has successfully processed numerous settlement and UK visa refusal appeal cases.
FAISAL MEHBOOB
B.A; LL.B (Hons), Quaid-e- Azam Law College, (University of Punjab)
Faisal joined our Chamber after completing his LL.B degree from Quaid-e-Azam Law College. He has extensive experience of successfully handling narcotics cases and murder trials, and is known for his exceptional cross examination skills. He regularly appears before the trial court and has traveled throughout the country representing our clients charged with various offences. Faisal also monitors and supervises investigations conducted by the local police and private investigators.
MINA FAQIR
B.A; LL.B (Hons) Quaid-e- Azam Law College,(University of Punjab)
Mina became part of our team in 2003 after successfully graduating from Quaid–e-Azam Law College. She has considerable experience in handling legal matters relating to physical abuse and domestic violence. Her area of specialization also includes intellectual property and offences committed in the area of trademark, patent and copyright.
SEHAR NIAZI
LL.B (Hons), University of London
Sehar holds an LL.B Honors degree from University of London and is currently associated with the Chamber as a trainee lawyer. She regularly assists the senior lawyers in various matters and has a special interest in fraud related matters, cyber crime and white collar offences. Sehar also holds the special distinction of having achieved the highest result in law in Pakistan.
Nasir Mehmood
B.A;LL.B PCL (University of Punjab)
Nasir joined our Chamber after completing his LL.B degree from Pakistan College of Law. Before joining the Chamber, Nasir specialized in litigation in the Magistrate Court for two years, in which period he dealt with diverse areas of both civil and criminal law. He is currently an advocate of High Court and is one of the best litigators in the Chamber.
Umar M. Khan

Umar completed his bar vocational course from the Inns of Court School of Law (Lincoln’s Inn). Prior to that, Umar did his bachelor’s in Law from the University of London (external programmer) and holds an additional Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Political Science and Psychology from Government College University, Lahore. Umar is currently working in the Chamber as an associate and deals with a wide variety of areas, including among others, Anti-Terrorism, Murder, Narcotics, White collar crime and Cyber law. Umar is also a lecturer of International Human Rights Law at University College Lahore in the external degree programme of University of London.
